With its pointed nose, this plane looks so strange that it almost resembles a bee! In fact, this airplane is a prototype of a 1967 West German aircraft designed to test the possibilities of vertical landing and take-off.
4 – X-29
The most striking thing about this technological demonstration aircraft designed by NASA is that its wings seem to have been assembled the wrong way! This device was used extensively by NASA in the 80s and its wings work perfectly well!
