1 – Alexander Lippisch's Areodyne
This airplane prototype dating back 1968 is Alexander Lippisch’s Areodyne. Looks like he had decided that all that a plane needed was an engine without any wings. The aircraft does not seem to be able to fly, but it is really capable!
2 - Bohm & Voss BV 141
This unconventional aircraft was a German tactical reconnaissance aircraft during the Second World War. Its engine and propeller were completely separated from the cockpit.
